Terms of service.

1. The service

Cre8te is a service operated by OpenLabs LLC. We provide video editing on a recurring subscription with a choice of $100 every two weeks or $150 per month. Both billing options provide the same service. Your subscription assigns you a dedicated account manager as your single point of contact, and access to our editing team. Editors are shared across clients and are allocated to each piece of work by your manager according to the skills it needs; we do not assign an individual editor exclusively to any one client. Your subscription covers 1 active request at a time.

2. Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method $100 every two weeks or $150 each month, according to the billing option you select, until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction.

3. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

4. Turnaround and revisions

We commit to returning a first cut within 48 hours. That period starts once your manager has both the complete footage and a brief sufficient to begin work, and pauses while we are waiting on you for either. Where a piece is unusually long or complex, your manager will agree a different timeline with you in writing before work starts. Revisions are unlimited within the scope of the original request; revision rounds are not covered by the 48-hour commitment.

5. Your content and ownership

You retain ownership of all footage and materials you supply. On payment, you own the finished deliverables outright, including full commercial rights. You confirm you hold the necessary rights to any footage, music or assets you send us.

6. Acceptable use

We may decline or stop work on content that is unlawful, infringing, or that we reasonably consider harmful. Where we decline work for these reasons we will refund any unused portion of the current billing period.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and continuing your subscription after that date constitutes acceptance.
